New Church

New Church’s Lead Pastor, T. J. Ward, most recently served as the Associate Pastor at Macedonia Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Fl. from June 2008 through December 2009, before transitioning to church planting full-time.  Prior to joining the staff at Macedonia, he was employed at Eagle’s View Academy, a private Christian school, for ten years where he spent the last half of his tenure as the high school principal.  T. J. attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College where he received a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and went on to receive a Master of Arts in Management and Administration of Educational Programs from Nova Southeastern University.  His wife, Wendy, works as a human resources analyst for Bank of America where she has been employed for the last twelve years.  They have two beautiful daughters, Dacey, 10, and Whitney, 8.  Together, they have a desire to use the skills and talents God has given them to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Winston-Salem, NC and beyond.
